Melissa and I went out to Ocean Beach today, and over to the Sutro Bath ruins.
Some more pictures here.
“This song is so iconic, I didn’t even practice it.”
Saw Stephen Malkmus last night at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
The show was really awesome, and completely different than I expected… It was just Stephen Malkmus and a guitar, mostly playing old Pavement songs, and even a Silver Jews song or two… He hardly played any of his newer stuff at all.
I was really hoping to hear “Hopscotch Willie”, but this was much better… I got to hear a ton of stuff I thought I’d never have the chance to hear live again. Really fun night.
Went to golden gate park last weekend for the first time. We’re only like a 15 minute walk from it, but I just haven’t had the chance. It is massive.
The park is also home to the Academy of Sciences, the de Young museum, and the japanese tea garden, so we’ll have to head back there soon… hopefully the nice weather keeps up.
This is really awesome.
Working on a small project for christmas gifts… Hope them come out as good as they look on the screen!
Carnegie Deli has always been my favorite New York Pastrami place (yes, I prefer it over Katz’s).
